‘Far Out’
'Far Out'. A queer, sci-fi comedy adventure by LSquaredTheatre set in a future where Earth is no longer habitable and it's people must search the vast expanse of space for a new home.
I created animations for this production, which gives the audience a visual representation of what the crew mates observe from the cockpit of their space shuttle, via a large projector screen at the rear of the stage.
This stage play premiered at the London Vault Festival 2023, which sold out on their last two performances and went on to become a nominee for the Vault Origins Award the same year.
Since then it also landed at the Omnibus Theatre in June 2023.
For all things ‘Far Out’ be sure to check out LSquaredTheatre here.
Here is a video trailer, showcasing some of the animation seen in the performance.
‘About Time’
A 3-minute animated poem exploring the concept of time - how it passes us by - how we use/misuse what limited time we have left.
“Time’s always high on the list of mysterious things and i think that’s why it continues to be an infinite source of inspiration for writers and artists and we see it so often explored in film and television as well.
My take on time in this poem considers how we tend to interact with it in our everyday lives, often to our own detriment.” - Chantelle Argent, writer of poem ‘About Time’.
